Often people are put off by the though of paying legal fees. At Frearsons Family Law we know it is important to you to know how much
things cost. We will always first assess whether you are entitled to funding from the Legal Services Commission. You are likely to be eligible if you receive benefits or are on a very low income. You must also have less than £8,000 in savings. We will however be able to tell you more at you first appointment.
We will always give you an estimate of our fees regardless of whether you are paying privately or if you are funded by the Legal Services Commission. We have a sophisticated time recording system and will update you regularly.

We will discuss costs with you at our first meeting and will provide you with confirmation in writing. There will be no nasty surprises. We accept both credit and debit cards and will be happy to accept monthly payments by standing order to enable you to budget. Some matters such as change of name deeds and declarations to marry abroad we deal with for a fixed fee.
